WESTCAN Scaffolding is one of Western Canada’s leading scaffolding contractors and suppliers of rental access equipment. CSA Z797-09 – The purpose of this Standard is to provide criteria for the safe erection, use, and inspection of access scaffold and for the training of erectors and users of such equipment.
CSA-S269.2-16 – This Standard provides guidance and requirements for the design, fabrication, and testing of scaffolding equipment, materials, and components where scaffolds are erected to provide working platforms for workers and materials during the construction, alteration, repair, or demolition of buildings and other structures. This Standard also includes limited guidance on scaffolding assemblies.

(United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America) Since it’s inception, Westcan has been a proud Union contractor. A close working relationship with the Hall at Local 1907 ensures WESTCAN always has a large pool of well trained, well represented tradesmen to call upon.

Indigenous Canadian Communities

WESTCAN have been active contributors to multiple First Nations Communities for several years. WESTCAN’s Owners have donated time and resources to First Nation’s vocational training centres, offering employment opportunities to multiple graduates.
